STEAMBOAT IN JUNE

I play a lot of shows in a lot of places, but Steamboat Springs, Colorado in the summertime is hard to beat. On June 18th and 19th I played at a fantastic restaurant/venue right along the Yampa River called Sweetwater Grill. The first night was an open session fireside jam around their outdoor fire-pit. This was an awesome opportunity to meet other local musicians and it is an event that Sweetwater hosts every Tuesday night during the summer. The second night was me playing solo for about 5 hours, taking in the mountain sunset and watching the kayakers float by. Sweetwater is a great place to catch live music and Steamboat is a beautiful town. I’ll be heading back there on July 12th to open up for The Drive-By Truckers at the Steamboat Free Concert Series.
